26.04.2009 14:06 | | | Of course the noise should be as low as possible. I have my TriCool at low and it cools my HD down to 37-35 depending of the room temperature. If I remember correctly, the HD goes down to 29-32 at maximum settings with the TriCool, but even a deaf person could not be around with the noise. :D |
26.04.2009 13:50 | | | seem so. My opinion is, less fans, less noise. That setup propably could go passive with a little bit of effort. |
26.04.2009 13:32 | | | And still I am scared about overheating. :D I'm an idiot, right? |
26.04.2009 12:43 | | | Nowadays CPUs and GPUs have certain temperature point when they shut down themselves to avoid overheat but that point is kinda high normaly, it's imposible to destroy CPU or GPU while gaming. |
26.04.2009 12:39 | | | I am what I am. I just think that isn't enough, but you know what you are doing. I'm always scared that my system overheats. :D When my GPU gets to 75, I quit the game in fear, that my GPU will go up with a puff of smoke. |
26.04.2009 12:15 | | | why not? More than enough for this kind of setup. |
26.04.2009 01:20 | | | Err... I don't feel so comfortable to watch this. I just don't like the idea of only one fan. :/ |
19.02.2008 20:00 | | | exactly. |
19.02.2008 19:49 | | | My E6750 + 8800 + three HDDs draw 160 Watts atm, so I'm fairly sure the 8400 with integrated graphics won't draw more than 120 Watts. |
19.02.2008 18:32 | | | Well it was easily enough for AMD BE-2300 (45W), and I believe it to be enough for C2D E6750 or E8400 |
19.02.2008 18:08 | | | how powerful system can a 120w power up? |
19.02.2008 18:00 | | | Damn.. How they do build something that small! |
19.02.2008 17:46 | | | looks like this: http://www.coolputer.fi/tuotekuvat/1558_2.jpg |
19.02.2008 17:46 | | | It is Picopsu, and it is located directly on the ATX-connector. the brown thingy on the picture |
19.02.2008 17:02 | | | Why I don't see the PSU o.O Or am I just blind |
19.02.2008 16:50 | | | willek ur machine =D |
19.02.2008 09:38 | | | I Donīt know where you have heard they are loud, but my opinion(!) is they are actually less so. And that one is going to be connected to the CPU fan header, so it wil be temperature contorolled. And yes 120W is what I am going to use |
19.02.2008 09:12 | | | I think he's gonna need a 120w for this one...:) |
19.02.2008 07:50 | | | Nice set tough. How powerfull pico PSU are you going to use? 80W? |
19.02.2008 07:48 | | | I have heard that those crossflow (tangential) fans are quite loud compared to axial fan (CFM/dB ration). Is it possible to make them inaudible, if you drop voltage enough? |
