    Started modding computer related hardware back in 2001. At the same time I started a website dedicated for modding. First everything was done in finnish but after I published the glowing mousepad article I translated all the old material to english and continued to run the site bi-lingual.

    My "day job" is with an engineering firm. There I function as an IT management chief and project manager. We do anything automation, machinevision etc. related projects.

    Had a large 4x40 Serial Ascii LCD screen that I modded for USB connection.
    A large 4x40 character serial LCD screen to play with. Planning on using this to display feeds from different websites etc. This particular photo is few years old already, I do have a more modern phone now. -;)

Pull the hand away to the side and the lamp keeps the selected brightness. Design might not be the "hottest" one but perhaps I find inspiration to house the electronics inside something else...

    "Insect" that operates on the sun's energy. The idea with these Beam circuits is that they are powered by the sun. Solar panels gather the sun's rays, convert them to electricity. This electricity is then stored to those black capacitors. When there is enough stored energy, the small motor will start to rotate. In this creation the motor will drive the "insect" along a wire, ruler etc. When the energy storage is depleted, the whole cycle starts again... store -> run -> store -> run...
